A/N: This is a preview for a story that I plan to write. I would really like some feedback on it, to know if it sounds interesting and like something that could be worth reading. Thanks.

-Confession-

"I was nine years old when it started. The youngest daughter of five. I had an older brother and two older sisters, as well as a younger brother. We weren't very well off, and both of our parents had to work a lot to keep us going. It was left to my older older siblings to take care of us.

"Eric, my older brother was the oldest. Five years older than me. He was the protector, always there to help us out. Always ready to step in if we needed it. Hardly anyone at school dared to pick on us for fear of his retaliation. When he got mad he was right scary to look at too, he was tall and towered over everyone it seemed, even in high school. Though, when he smiled he had the kindest brown eyes. When I was I little I used to curl up into his side and beg that he would read to me, and while he did it I'd stare at his face the whole time, just mesmerized by the expressions that I caught on his face. When the story had finished he would turn to me kiss me on the head and tell me that someday I will be like someone from a story. I wish that he had been right, at least in since that he had always meant.

"The other girls in family Rachel and Elena, my sisters, were twins and they couldn't have been more different. Rachel had super curly dark hair and bright gray eyes. Elena was a pencil straight strawberry blond, and her eyes were a light mossy green. They fought a lot, and over just about anything. Something that did not change over the years.

"Then there was the youngest, little Micheal. He was such a bright child, always trying to make everyone feel better. His little world revolved around his family and chocolate. Chocolate, his favorite thing ever. Somehow, and none of us had ever succeeded in learning how, he always had a supply of chocolate just waiting around. He didn't keep it for himself, he kept it to give to anyone who was upset. To him, chocolate fixed everything. It was hard to resist his comfort, he looked so sweet, with his innocent smile wide green eyes and sun blond hair.

"Both of my parents were very hard working. They were gone all day and hardly ever home at the same time, but they loved us and made sure to show it when they could. With every spare moment we could get, we go out together and spend time as a family. Everything that they did, they did it for us.

"Just after my ninth birthday, things started to change for us. Mother had fallen ill and was no longer able to work. Rachel and Elena had started taking care of her because we couldn't afford medicine. Eric had got a job, to help pay for what he could. Micheal was heart broken, he did his best to help our mother, but he was so young. It was a hard time for all of us.

"I was frustrated. I knew what was going and yet there was nothing I could do. My world had shattered, and it hurt. I wanted everything to go back to the way it had been. I started to feel alone, not a feel that I was comfortable with. I had been used to having loads of attention put on me from my family, and suddenly losing it was a hard shock.

"It wasn't long after that when I was still struggling to understand how to deal with it all that he came along. He seemed to make my world perfect again in one day. He made it seem like he understood exactly what I was going through. He always had the perfect answers, the perfect things. He showered me attention and I loved every moment of it. It didn't really take him all that long to get me caught in his grasp.

"People tell me that it was because I was ignorant, I didn't know what he was doing. Or it was because I was young and didn't understand. Along with so many other things. What they don't realize is, I had always been bright for my age – I suppose that is one of the many reasons that he chose me. He told me early on exactly what he wanted from me, and I didn't care. I was willing to do anything for him, and quite literately anything. I let him teach me to do whatever he wanted me to. It didn't matter to me what it was, as long as it was for him.

"My parents had known about everything, but they never did anything to stop it. Though I am sure that they had wanted too, and wanted to do so more than anything else in the world. I believe that they didn't, because if they had they would have never been able to see me again. As it was I still lived with them and spent time with them, but if they had ever even went close to making the suggestion that he stays away from and I stay away from him I would have been gone in an instance. I would have ran away to him, and completely disappeared from their lives. That was how deep his hold was on me. He was my world."
