This Life Of Mine

I used to think

I was not worth

The life I was given

But things have

Made me change my mind

Now I see

I am worth it

As long as I work

Hard to use this

Life I was given

To do good and

Help others

And how I choose

To help others

Is by writing

The best I possible can

If I can bring someone

A little light in their dark day

Or hope when they have none

I am using my life the right things

This is all I want

I want to be a writer

Like my father before me

That is my wish and

I am going to work hard to

Make it come true
