Dolls

Skin soft and smoothed over like tightly sealed plastic. Hair silky and shiny, eyes big and bright, hands small, wrists slim, shoulders-weak, emotions fragile like glass… Eyelids painted carefully in detail, a blush softly powdered on, and lips a candied gloss—like dolls.

Actions mirroring their mother's, restricted by their father's, and pressured to change by their friends.

Controllable, pretty, molded to be perfect but there's always a flaw—a smudge, chip, or a popping of heads—like dolls.

Author's Note: How was it? Short, huh? I have been wanting to do one about boys, called Action figures, but i haven't found a good way to word everything yet. Haha. So R&R for now. :D
