Following God's path is not always easy

You guard has to be up constantly

One small misstep and not only

do you stain your soul

but you hurt those who love you

and who you love the most.

When your eyes have been opened

To the pain that you've caused

God promises forgiveness for

All the wrong that you've done.

Just leave your cares and fears

Upon his great throne

For his love and mercy will always be there

There will be sadness and pain and consequence

But in the end it doesn't matter

If in all things you will finally be content

His love and compassion is always a great thing

And when those arms surround you,

You smile for you know

He'll give you everything you've always longed for.
