Latte Bay
Away in the hazy distance
Stand mountain features imposing
Curves and spikes standing tall
Always standing guard over all
Expansive waters oh so still
The strong wind has stopped its howling
Leaving everything alone
Becoming quiet and settled
The sun rapidly disappears
Right behind an imposing curve
Casting shadows over the land
Darkening the noisy campsites
Some people quietly retreat
All others form a raucous bunch
But I am content and happy
Sitting upon the orange rock
