Songbirds sing as a sillouette of two
Enter the store and in hand
It's just them, and you
You can see them by the sea and sand
Though you're not there
You're imagining them
You see them on the security screen
And they lean in, a kiss on the cheek
A boy and a girl sixteen and fifteen
The girl smiles and the boy turns away looking meek
He calls himself stupid and dumb
She wraps her arms around him
The boy leans in and kisses her lips
And a big smile goes across her face
The boy wishes he hadn't eaten chips
The girl wishes she wore a dress of lace
You then go and collect them for checkout
And pretend you hadn't just seen them make out
And didn't just witness the girls first kiss
