My Heart is Bigger Now
Before they said I was heartless
And I guess what they said was true
But my heart was so small
It only had room for one
But then I grew to love
Those two people
Who always watched over me
I think they called themselves
Mother and father
And then my little sister
Julia was born
And my heart swelled
To make room for her
Soon I went to school
And made new friends
And best friends
Some who I love more then
What I can comprehend
And now we are parting
Maybe for forever
And before you call me heartless
For not crying like you
Can't you see my heart is bigger now?
