A poem that is not pro or against anybody. Just a "as it is" flow, presenting briefly my personal point of view.

As You May Consider…

I do not care for confrontation,

the world is still gray with drops of light,

life is still a strange phenomenon

that leaves me questioning day and night.

Consensus does it for me,

yet it leaves me in a pensive state,

to agree or to disagree…

or rather accept a widening debate…

The wind blows through the portal of time,

and I try my best to listen.

But does it matter whether or not you're mine?

There will always be stars that glisten…

If Earth really is what lies between Heaven and Hell,

the sky is light in day and shines at nighttime

what more of a mystery can one tell?

Since we're all trapped beneath the skyline…

Forget the moon, it just another place for us

to conquer and make bleed

if only power and man wasn't such a fuss,

blinded by hatred and greed…

Watch them fight, watch them kill

And for what course of the matter?

some inner need or sadistic thrill?

The heart that continues to tatter…

The human heart, the human soul,

After all what are the rights of man?

To live to breath, to exist as a whole?

Barely abided by since it began…

I do not care to argue.

I'll shrug at the rain and smile at the sun,

Certainly I have my point of view,

But it's a rather peculiar one…
