Element of Destruction
The fire will consume
Those foolish enough to assume
Its golden beauty meant benevolence
When it represents malevolence
The flames mock those entranced
With its swift and graceful dance
For when admirers draw to near
Its heat makes them recoil in fear
When it burns greatness to ashes
It lives on in madly cheery flashes
It warms and gives life
But don't forget it represents strife
As fire is the element of the devil
For in its destruction does he revel
Fire can also mean the phoenixes' rebirth
A subject that causes much mirth
For fire sends people to the cemetery
Making rebirth necessary
Remember, fire will deceive
Trust it, and only injury will you receive
