Adonis
Splendor presents such calm, such grace.
Come and let him pass by again,
and I will perish at his glance.
Underneath the shadowy curtain I hide,
But you can probably see me.
In all words, in all thoughts
that dissolved beneath the mirth of better days
take my naivety within your stride
oh precious one with face so pure and heart so full,
perhaps you know no more than I do.
Breath hasn't come so clear, so precise
since the rest of the world had fallen.
But in your potential ignorance, I'll perceive
only that you are but a dream,
lest Adonis saunters by again.
