Corners Cutting

Said the circle to the square,
"I think often that I might

kill myself." The cold
twist of whole in twain;

eye contact and a brutal handshake -
the edge razor
clipped his finger.
His blood spill clapped on the coarse concrete.

(long silent grapple!)

Said the body to the mind,
"Hello. I will not let go."
