Intro
In a dark, dingy graveyard in northern Greece, a breeze carried half-rotten leaves across the plain. In one corner there stood an oak tree. It had no leaves, only vines and hanging moss dangled from its broken branches. The tree seemed totally inhospitable. Below the tree was a grave. At one end was a gravestone. The name was illegible but the date could be read as 1810 - 1834. There was a ditch opposite the tree. It was about 4 foot deep and, more disturbingly, completely empty apart from a scrap of paper...
