Prologue
In the sky a woman in blue armor struggled against the coils but the more she did so the tighter they grow. A winged creature that had her began to charge toward her, razor sharp claws trained on her throat, but before it could reach her a flash of red and a two tone screeching rang through the air. The coils around her body loosened and she broke free, her wings of blue, light energy appearing on her back in a burst of light as she ripped the coils off of her and turning around quickly seeing the creature burn as it fell to the ground.
"Go," Said a man in red armor and helment, his right hand that had a strange armored arm glowed a red light of an old magic, she glanced over at him and nodded her head. She went ahead of him and the red armored man followed closely behind.
"Come on!" Another man in green armor with a matching right hand but in his own unique color of green yelled toward his comrades, "The portal is closing!" A ravaging black portal began to close slowly above them. What once started out as a mile long portal now was only six feet tall.
The green armored hand reached his hand out and grabbed the female with blue armor hand as she passed through the portal and disappeared. He reached again, half in and half out of the portal. The red armored man reached out for him, their hands almost clasping but then, the red hand began to draw back.
A coil wrapped around his body, drawing him back, a sharp end piercing his chest, a chocked gasp.
"DYNH!" The green armored man yelled at sheer horror at the sight he was witnessing and leaped forward to save his comrade, his friend, but was stopped when the female suddenly appeared and grabbed his arm and began to pull him back into the closing portal.
The last thing he saw was the red one, Dynh, being surrounded by the creatures, blood, and a red light flashing through the air.
A light that meant Dynh was killed, and his armored arm, The Dragoon, began to seek another owner.
An unlikely owner for the Red Dragoon.
