Another nature poem. The title was sparked from "Whispers in the Wood" by Isandria Lilith Yorkshire. It's a beautiful work, I highly recommend it.

They like to say
Winter is a horrid season
That we must teach him
Proper manners
So we can turn him
Into a docile boy
Just like Spring
And summer
But I say
We must accept Winter
Even though he screams
And bites and sometimes
Makes you cry
Because the secret about Winter
That adults are not able to see
Is that there are angels
Hidden in the snow
