A tribute poem I wrote for my neighbor. Her passing was sudden, very rough for us. She had a wondrous heart, a kind and joyful soul, and died young. May she rest in peace forever.

Falling snow
So beautiful, she says
The gentle winter wind
Brushing the snow
She lifts the window
And reaches out
Imploring
To nature
To be one with the wind
A spirit of winter
A life lost
A neighbor taken
Lament her passing
If she hears our grief
Zen take her heart and soul
