When you next pick up an old notebook, consider thus:

Don't leave me behind,

Don't let me die.

Give me a future,

Make people cry.

Wasn't I your child,

Under your care,

To grow and flourish,

To serve a purpose like 'kill the bear.'

But then you let me,

Alone in this place,

No space to grow,

Closed, with no room to even pace.

The words stop flowing,

They're standing stock still.

Like the life I once lived,

Halted by this.

But then you picked us up and started again,

We moved and we talked,

Happy to be.

Don't lose us this time,

Let us enjoy ourselves,

And have a good

The End
