You swore we were forever, swore that I was the one

I gave you my all and you tore me apart

But never again, now my lesson is learned

You'll never steal my heart

Because I keep it in a locked box

Buried on an island

In the middle of the ocean

No, you're never going to find it

'Cause you had your chance

To make this last

Even though I miss you it's true

My heart is safe without you

I was stupid to believe that you were leading me home

Now I'm scrambling for the surface, hoping I can restart

I figured out the hard way love is bound to be rough

You'll never steal my heart.

Because I keep it in a locked box

Buried on an island

In the middle of the ocean

No, you're never going to find it

'Cause you had your chance

To make this last

Even though I miss you it's true

My heart is safe without you
