I stare into his eyes
Brown, like mud
Hard, like iron
Cold, like ice.
So evilly .
He holds a whip
Leather with silver studs shining
He brings it above his head
A silhouette against the blazing sun
And finally brings it down
Slicing through the air to meet
My uncovered flesh.
