BEEP~ BEEEEEP~ BEEP~ BEEE- I knocked my phone off my nightstand, causing the battery to pop out. I realllly don't want to wake up. I thought silently before falling back asleep. Just as I fell asleep, my mom came bursting in my room.
"KATSUROOOOOOOOOO~ My lovely son, it's time to wake up!" She exclaimed in a sing-song voice. "You got to hurry up or you'll be late! All the pretty girls will be waiting for you handsomeness to walk into the classroom! Wah~ You'll give me such beautiful grandchildren, right?"
"Yeah, Mom. Got it. Pretty grandchildren. I got to get ready now."
"Oh ok! I'll go finish making breakfast!" She ran out the room and hurriedly went downstairs where the burning eggs were waiting.
"You'll give me such beautiful grandchildren!" Those words that were told to me every morning still played in my head. Oh but I won't be giving you any grandchildren. I could never say that to her. She was so disappointed by Nii-san…he took half our money and ran away with a prostitute. My mom keeps telling me that he probably died in a sewer because of STDs. She named me "Katsuro" so I would be a "victorious son." I wish there was a name that meant "gay, but still victorious son!" Oh well.
I got out of bed and quickly got ready. I went into the bathroom to fix…more like fight my hair. GOD DAMN YOU HAIR! My hair didn't like doing what I asked it to. I think it's because of the mass amount of times I bleached and dyed it…what was I thinking? I ran downstairs and got my breakfast from my mom.
"Itadakimasu!" I ate my food without tasting, which was a good thing. My mom couldn't cook worth a damn, bless her soul, but she always put a lot of effort into it. Today was a heart shaped piece of toast with burnt eggs and a little bit of parmesan cheese…since when did we ever have parmesan cheese?! I grabbed my bag and portfolio and headed towards the train station. Ah~ College~ I thought while walking. So many other artistic and beautiful boys…I was majoring in painting and usually asked for people to pose for some works. Most guys would say no, but the girls would volunteer themselves.
"Hey, Himura-kuuun~ Can I please model for one of your paintings?"
"Thanks, but I'm still working in a different painting right now so I don't have time." Ugh, her again?
"Oh ok…" Her eyes cast a sad, puppy dog stare. She stood there waiting for me to miraculously change my mind because of her "cuteness." Sorry, but unless you're smoking hot and have a penis, no. I thought then chuckled at my hilariousness.
SLAP
"WHAT THE FU-" I whipped my head around and the girl was standing there crying.
"IF YOU THINK I'M THAT UGLY JUST SAY SO!" She screamed the stormed off. Women can be so annoying. I laughed to myself again and plastered my famous smile back across my face. I skipped to class passing another girl who threw an almost identical fit last week.
I sat down in my seat and waited for the professor to start the lesson. I stared out the window at the empty street and playground/ park next to the school. There was a man sleeping on a bench with his guitar laying on his stomach. Woah~ Is he like a hobo or something? The man woke up and rubbed his sleepy eyes. He stared around like he forgot that he was sleeping in a park. What the heck? He turned around towards my window and picked up his guitar. I was pretty amazed that I could see him so well seeing as he was pretty far away and I was on the fourth floor. He brought his head back up, and looked up. Suddenly we made eye contact. Normally I would've looked away as if I hadn't seen him, but there was something about him that made me keep staring. We stayed, eyes locked, for what seemed like an hour (it was really just 5 minutes) when finally my concentration snapped when I heard my name being called.
"HIMURA KATSURO! PAY ATTENTION!"
