So with that framed in my room on my wall, the orphanage made my birthday the day I was dropped there. So in exactly 5 days, the 18th of June, I will turn 16 and become legal for… certain things. Yet here I am, single and wanting a love but not one like mums because that was just way to sad. Every year on my mum's birthday she goes and visits his grave with Macey and then goes to lunch with her friends to celebrate so I get the house to myself. I texted Delilia and she came over to help with the invites to my party. Did I forget to mention? Rachel's birthday is 5 days before mine but as I was saying we made invites to roughly 20 people but on the night it was like we had invited the entire grade. As a surprise, Delilia had scanned the invites and sent them to the grade. She had gotten onto my emails and deleted it so I didn't know. Included in the email was a message to bring me a gift and not mention that they were coming unless on the original list. Man was I angry but overjoyed when all these people came. I had so many presents and then he turned up and I saw him.

Luke Sayton…

Luke Sayton was the boy who kept looking at me in English and kept pushing me around in the hallways. Why was he here? I went and found Delilia who was getting a drink and asked her, "How did all these people know and LUKE SAYTON! Why is he here?" I had to yell because the music was too loud. She replied at the same volume, "It was my surprise. I sent the invites to the entire grade so that it would be an amazing party for you and as for Luke, it was his choice!" I hugged her so hard and well went to enjoy myself. The party lasted till about 1 am when parents started to arrive or people caught the bus home although before that part of the night though Luke came up to me. "Happy Birthday Emma, want to go somewhere quieter?" he shouted which made me jolt as I didn't know he was there. "Thanks and sure" I replied so we went out onto the street and started talking but I started with the questions because well it's my party so why shouldn't I?

All I could do was sit and stare at those deep blue eyes of his and the strong muscles from being a soccer player. He had to brush some people off who wanted to talk to him because well, he was one of the most popular guys in the school and almost every girl drooled over him. I never really noticed him until now and he always seemed to notice me apparently. His gelled blonde hair, which actually came to his shoulders, gently moved in the breeze of this summer night. He was wearing a shirt way to small for him because whenever he lifted his arms, his abs of steel showed. Did I just say that? Anyways, the conversation started as awkwardly as ever, he put his arm around me when he sat down.

"Hey Luke, why did you come? I didn't even invite you or even half these people. You have got to be the most wanted guy in the grade and you came to my party!" I started to trail off and he just laughed. "I came because Delilia came up to me and asked me to come. Everyone else got that email but I had a piece of paper handed to me." He got it out of his pocket and showed it to me. There it was, my glittery silver signature and Delilia's writing asking him to come but he wasn't on the list. "Oh my god, Delilia gave that to you? I'm going to kill her!" Once again he started laughing and spilled some of his drink. "Why? I like it; it's been a good night. My little brother is a pain and I haven't had a break from him in a while" he replied with a big grin on his face and that's when it started. His eyes locked with mine and it seemed as if we were going to kiss but of course me being a blabber mouth I had to ask one last question. "Why do you always look at me in English? I'm a nerd with no biological parents and don't really have looks on my side and yet sometimes it seems you can't keep your eyes off me." Now that's got to be an awkward question to ask a guy and it did seem at the time because he stood up and looked down at me. He put his hand out to help me up while throwing away his drink. "I can't keep my eyes off you because you are beautiful Emma and I well, I guess I like you" he said once I had stood up. He spun me around and I started laughing and then he hugged me.

So guys, this was like where I stopped because I had no idea where to go next and no one really liked it. If you like it, tell what I should change and what should happen next and I'll see.
