Fame isn't what it is always cracked up to be. It often brings more harm than good.

Fames' Children

I came upon a little star

set up upon a pedestal

and stared up.

.

It twinkled slowly,

dimming quickly,

turning black,

then flashing back

with people swirling –

.

Run, little star, run!

Freedom is just 'round the corner.

They'll chase without rest,

so return to your place in the sky!

.

I will watch as you flee,

I will watch as you fly,

I will watch as you live –

up in the sky!
