Hidden Dreams
If I were to start uncovering my life
The layers of the past,
I would strive to find
What I took time in hiding,
Passing on through life
We all have things we fear,
We all have things that bring us joy
Even laughter,
The most you'd uncover
Are the tiny things we discover,
Things we wanted, what we didn't' get
Our tiny Hidden dreams,
Dust covered and growing old
They sit still as mold,
Heaping up in your storage
Hoping someday you'll forage,
Even though there from the past
They seem to tell you that they'll last,
Unable to hide their streams
Hidden dreams.
