Indigo girl,

So far from home;

The girl who travels,

She loves to roam.

Indigo girl,

She'll sing her song;

Like rats to the Piper,

You'll believe no wrong.

Indigo girl,

She'll ensnare your soul;

You won't even notice,

As your body grows cold.

Indigo girl,

They cried when she left;

But it wasn't for her,

It was because of your death.
