A large storm had hit the beach a day before,and a crowd of people stood around the wreckage. The creature was the size and shape of a 15-year-old girl. She-or it, was covered in green scales mostly, had fins,down her back, and her arms. It's feet and fingers webbed. A combination of fish and human.
It was alive...they could tell that, and appeared to at least be smart enough to cover its self, for modesty's sake, with seaweed wrapped around it. It also marked the beginning of a huge scientific discovery.
First...it was the siren, then the dragons living in the volcanos, but over the year of 2012, magic was discovered, and conquered.

Thirty years later, the world runs by magic. Healing, energy, a source of entertainment, human kind grew stronger...

Corliss stared at the gaudy costume,and at her captor. Years ago, she would have complained at the human, for stuffing her into a frilly, shell covered, pink, dress, but now?
Besides. The 'legendary siren queen of the deeps' was getting quite popular at the aquarium. To tell the truth, it wasn't that bad. The mortals paid her back well,she got all sorts of interesting foods, and, once a weak, got to explore the city.
A pretty sweet deal if you thought about it.

She shrugged the dress on, and adorned the tiara that came with it. Besides...this would be the last preformance-ever.

Storm flew, shrouded by clouds. The mortals below, to busy with their own, meager lives to look if they did, they would see something worth seeing.
As dragons went, Storm was tiny,about the size of a labrador retriever. What was once a neusense was a gift. The places he could go...but like all beings of magic, he had to be smart. If humans saw him, they would gawk,and point. Storm knew that he didn't want that.

But...he wouldn't get seen...right?
