Prompt: Start-Up #1

This summer I wanted to go to Alaska. I had written stories about cats that lived there, and I wanted to go back to Alaska and see what it looks like. I used to live in Alaska; we moved there from Spokane when I was three months old, and moved back when I was three years old. I remember nothing from Alaska. The only things I know about it are what my mom has told me.

I know that my grandparents own a lodge there, and live there during the summer. During the winter, they live in Arizona. My mom met my dad there, but they are divorced, now.
