I'm not much of a poet but I do get lucky and write a good one every once and a while lol :P please read and review :)

Leafless oaks, birches, and elms

Stand dormant and lifeless

All covered in icy crystals

Frozen in time

The sun shines but brings little warmth

It still shines

Promising to bring spring

And melt the time freezing snow

To breathe life into the earth

And let everything be fruitful once again

To be alive
