Those Three Words
We were on the phone secretly for hours
Talking about everything under the moon
Laughing and reminiscing until we talked
About your dream, you found it peculiar
Because in the dream, I almost said
I love you, you couldn't stop thinking
About this one dream
Those three little words, I love you
Have so much meaning, emotion, power
But do we feel that way?
We've never loved before
Those three little words, could it be?
That we feel this way? Here and now?
Do I love you? Do you love me?
We actually discussed the dream
The funny thing about the dream
Was I was actually questioning
If I thought I felt that way
You said ever since that dream
It's been a thought in your head
You couldn't help but think
Those three little words, I love you
Have so much meaning, emotion, power
But do we feel that way?
We've never loved before
Those three little words, could it be?
That we feel this way? Here and now?
Do I love you? Do you love me?
We've had our problems and obstacles
But we've overcame them
They only brought us closer
We've helped each other
When we needed it most
And we've heard that's proof
When you start falling in love
Those three little words, I love you
Have so much meaning, emotion, power
But do we feel that way?
We've never loved before
Those three little words, could it be?
That we feel this way? Here and now?
Do I love you? Do you love me?
The answer is clear
You have thoughts feelings for me
You love me
And now I'm certain
I love you
