Neutral colors of the world; that's how I live. The light and the dark clash and I can't understand it. I hate it. I'm trapped in a world that lives without me. I am alone; a rainbow in a sky of black and white.

Shades of gray

From the darkest dark to the lightest light

Everything is fading into white

I'm running in circles of gray

The edges of my memory are falling away

I think I'm about to crack

And everything is turning into black

...

When I open my eyes in the middle of the night

Everything is black and everything is white

I've forgotten how to see

The shades of gray are killing me

The misery is coming back

And I'm being enveloped by black

...

My heart is vanishing and it can't put up a fight

It's too hard to take because it's too white

Dreaming in a storm where I can't tell if it's night or day

I am covered in an agonizing display of gray

I am trapped in a constant attack

My freedom being replaced by black
