Too Fast
They go so fast.
Too fast.
Hard to keep up.
Like the movie Unstoppable
Except it's a school year long.
And no trains.
Papers.
More papers.
Still more papers.
Never ends.
Like a car crash.
Seems forever, but isn't.
Or an earthquake.
Try to keep up.
But just too fast.
Wish it would end.
Far from it.
I miss a due date.
I fail a test.
It's just too fast.
Homework might as well be in Binary.
1001010101111010110101010111 00101001—Slow Down!
I try to compromise with the homework.
I can't.
'Cause it's homework.
A paper.
I've lost it.
Slow down!
Too fast.
