Hello all. I wrote this poem for my parents this christmas. You're welcome to use it if you're stuck for words to put down on a card. It's not necessarily a christmas poem either, so you can use it for any occasion or replace "two parent's" with "a mother/father", "a brother/sister", "a best friend", or anyone else you think it suits. I hope you enjoy.

Even though I roll my eyes

and even though I tilt my chin,

Even though I laugh it off

and and give you a defiant grin,

Every time you help me out

or build me up when I'm in doubt,

There is a spark inside my chest

that tells me just how much I'm blessed

To have two parents quite like you

whom without I could never do.
