Were you prepared for the blood and the agony and fire? Did you know how bad it would be? Were you prepared to see the world burn around you? Were you expecting to have to watch as flame so coldly devoured the forests? Is your heart so cold even this blistering flame can't burn it? Is your soul so hard that even the screams of your burning child cannot touch it? Are you so heavily defended, that even the horror of this bloody day cannot break through. I think not. You feel every cry and every ounce of pain you have inflicted and, I suppose that is your punishment. I will settle for that. I will settle for your eternal agony and be appeased.
