Chapter 4

Joey wakes up and walks out his room to see Sarah is still in bed so he decides to have a shower.

After Joey finishes his shower he sees Sarah is still in bed so he goes downstairs and starts to cook an English breakfast.

As Joey finishes he takes a plate on a lap tray up to Sarah room and knocks on the door.

Sarah jumps up and says "hello"

Joey replies "morning Drama Princess is it ok if I come in I've cooked breakfast"

Sarah shouts "yes please come in"

Joey walks in and sees Sarah Laying on the bed wearing a pink Nightie that goes down to her knees, Joey stares a little and says "here you go Princess hope you like it"

Sarah blush a little when she realises Joey can see her in her nightie and quickly pulls the duvet over her so he can only see the top of her and says "thanks you didn't have too"

Joey replies "its ok I felt like a cooked breakfast and thought you might like some. Anyway I let you eat it in peace and allow you to get changed as car will be here in an hour"

Joey quickly leaves the room closing the door behind him.

Sarah starts to eat her breakfast but can't get her thoughts off Joey, could Joey really like her or is he only after one thing. Sarah decides to stop thinking about it she shouldn't get involved with someone she works with it make it a lot harder to make a chose later on.

Sarah finishes her breakfast and puts on her Falcone catsuit then puts her demi jeans and a hood over top of it so it won't show as she did not want to blow her cover on her second day.

She walk down stair with her plate and puts it next to the sink and says "come on Joey it's time to go you don't want to be late do you?"

Joey runs down stair and out of the door and gets in the waiting car as Sarah locks the door behind them.

As they get to the Leisure centre the get out the car and walk inside. Sarah leads the way to the lift and enters the code. The door to the lift opens and they both get inside.

As the lift gets to the bottom Sarah can see her Uncle James waiting for them at the bottom.

"Morning agents head to the locker room here are the keys to your lockers Sarah you are locker 22 and you Joey are locker 32, you will find a spare uniform and also your cover uniform as both of you will be lifeguards for this leisure centre and on that topic to keep your cover tomorrow your both be working so take your uniform home make sure it fits and be on time. Ok go get changed out of your street clothes and meet me in the tech lab" James says with a smile on his face then walked back to his office.

As they headed towards the locker room Joey asks "why was he in such a good mood?"

Sarah looked at Joey and had a good think and replies "I'm not sure but it could be something to do with Miss Dickinson didn't you see how they act around each other? But it could be he can't wait to see how we do with our test"

Joey looks a bit shocked and a start too changed out of his street clothes, Sarah smiles and does the same.

Once Sarah and Joey are changed out of their street clothes and were wearing their Falcon uniforms they head off to the tech lab.

As they get to the tech lab they see Miss Dickinson standing near a door with James and Chris so Sarah and joey walk over.

As they get closer James says "Ok you two you will take it in turns to do each area, first area is the bomb defuse area there will be 3 bombs that need you to stop them before time runs out, second area is the shooting range you are to unload the pistol into the target and try get a high score and the last area is the threat awareness Course were you have to go through the mock town taking down all hostile targets and not hit civilians. You will be make for every area so if you fail at one of get a low score in one area it doesn't mean you have failed all of it. Do your best that's all that counts. Ok who wants to go first?"

Sarah replies "Joey you can go first if you want I don't mind"

Joeys face lights up and says "thanks Sarah this is going to be easy"

"don't bet on it Joey, ok in each area will be a table with the tools you can use before the room unlocks you must put the tools back onto the table we will be watching know off you go, Sarah you must wait here when the light flashes green then you may start and every time the light flashes green it means the next room is waiting for you. Good luck both of you." James says as he walks into another room with Miss Dickinson arm around his.

Joey doesn't notes and walks into the first area.

Joey walks over to the table and picks up the tools he looks around the three bombs and ran to each of them to look at the design and the time on each then set to work on the one with the least amount of time and had it disarmed in two minutes. Then Joey runs over to the bomb in the middle of the room and looks at the device and then uses the volt meter to find the wire that leads to the bower and cuts it turning the bomb off.

Joey runs to the last bomb and starts to unscrew the housing around the detonator once it is unscrewed he slowly pulls it out making sure not to touch the sides or the bomb will go off. Once it was out he reached in and pulled out the explosives making the bomb safe.

Joey looks up with a smile and walks over to the table and puts the tools back once he had done he sees the side door opening so he walks over and thought the door to find the next area waiting.

Joey finds the gun on the table and picks it up and loads the bullets. Then he walks over and fires the gun at the target making sure he is aiming for the head and chest at the max point zones.

Once he was finished he put the gun back on the table and walked over to the target to see how he did.

"Great I missed only once like to see Sarah beat that." Joey says out loud

Joey sees the last area and walks in to find an assault rifle so joey picks it up checks to see if loads and heads down into the mock village shooting at targets that popped up but missing the small girl target that popped out right in front of him.

As Joey came to the last target he couldn't get a clear shot as it kept moving behind a target of a woman. Joey held the weapon as still as possible and waited for a min and took the shot hitting the target when the siren sound saying it was all clear.

Joey puts the rifle back on the table and leaves the room to find a waiting area so he can wait for Sarah to finish.

What seemed like over an hour but was only 20 min's Sarah walked in and says "god that was fun hopefully we both did well" as Sarah finished talking in walked James with Miss Dickinson and Chris.

Sarah stood still and looked at Joey.

James looking a bit annoyed about something says "good work Joey you scored 2301 only 20 points of my score that is very impressive. Know Sarah I'm not very happy with you"

Sarah looked a bit worried while Joey had a big smile across his face thinking she didn't do that well.

Sarah asks "why Director what did I do wrong?"

James looks up and says "you scored 2350 and have taken my top spot you would have got a higher score but you were a little bit slow when it came to disarming the bombs but well done. And Joey you need to make sure you take less time taking a shot as the enemy will not think about hitting a bystander to kill you so take the shot as soon as you can but the rest of your tests were nearly perfect. Ok you both have passed so you may know carry these weapons keep them hidden at home as you can be called at any time. Ok go get dressed and take your cover uniform home and be ready for tomorrow as you will need to look the part as a lifeguard before we can send you out on any mission"

Sarah saw joey mouth drop when he heard James say Sarah bet him so she didn't say anything she went to get changed and took her weapon and her lifeguard uniform and went to the car. As she reach the car she looked around to see joey who said "I'm going to go for a jog I will meet you back at the house ok"

Sarah could tell it had got to Joey so she just says "ok see you later"

When Sarah gets home she goes upstairs and tries on her lifeguard uniforms as she puts it on and looks in the mirror she hears the door open and shut so she goes down to see joey in the kitchen.

"Who is going to wash up" Joey snaps

"I don't know" Sarah replies

Well it's a woman's place in the kitchen" joey snaps not seeing Sarah face go red as she walk over and fills a cup with water and throws it over him.

Joey starts to smile and says "that means war" Sarah runs into the garden trying to get away from Joey who finds the hose and starts to cover Sarah in water. Sarah grabs the hose and Joey grabs Sarah and brings her to the floor with him sitting on her their face are looking into each other's eyes, joey slowly moves toward Sarah's lips to kiss her when they hear someone say "you must be the new tenants I'm your neighbour Alan, it's good to see a young couple get on so well together now a days"

Sarah quickly pushes Joey off her and says "hi I'm Sarah this is Joey we not really a couple we work together so we thought it be best to rent a place together to cut down on costs."

Sarah trying not to blush looks at Alan who was a man in his early 50's and she could see he had his own little pen in his garden with two chickens in.

Alan replied "o sorry about the mistake if you ever need anything or any help your welcome to knock on my door and I will do what I can to help."

Alan then walks back into his house while Sarah quickly walks inside and does the washing up while Joey dry's the floor and puts the washing up away.

Joey then says "you look great in that by the way. What do you want for diner I'm going to cook I feel bad I didn't mean what I said about where your place should be just hated the fact I could have taken the shot but my nerves got the better of me"

Sarah replies "thanks, I'm going to go get changed while you cook, I don't mind what it is and I forgive you."

Sarah walks up stairs to get changed still thinking of her near miss with Joey, what would have happened if Alan hadn't come out would they have kissed or would she have stopped him.

Sarah came back down stairs, wearing her sweet pants and hoody, and walked in to the dining room where Joey had set the table and had cooked bangers and mash.

Sarah sits down and starts eating and joey sits and eats his dinner. Once they finish Sarah decide to help Joey do the washing up before she heads to bed.
