I was staring at the bus seat, soaked and shivering.

"Are you okay, buddy?"

I glanced up weakly. The bus driver was looming over me. The engine was silent. My obnoxious classmates were silent. Everyone was staring at me.

I slowly got up and realized there was a large puddle next to me.

I rubbed my eyes but they weren't wet.

"Where's Gwyneira?" someone asked. And my heart sank.

"She melted," I blurted out. "I melted her."

I guess no one knew whether to be solemn or take it as a joke so no one said anything.

"She melted because she's actually a human inside. All she wanted was to be one of us. Sadly, none of us gave her a chance. She—"

I sneezed and shuttered violently.

"Let's get you to the hospital."

I tried resisting because I wanted to tell them about my dream and what she told me, but I blacked out again.

The next thing I saw were snow-white sheets and an IV bottle next to me. I was on the hospital bed. And then an angel with pale skin, black hair and a shining smile appeared by my side. She kissed me on the nose and said "thank you".

That was the last time I saw Gwyneira, but I know she always watches over me.
