I tried to count the stars
For maybe I could know
How night earned all its scars
And how it let them go
It wears them very proudly
As art inscribed by time
But doesn't know it's deadly
To constantly remind
Where might I find the strength
To dazzle in the dark?
To make beauty of pain?
To love each scar and mark?
