With delicate shape
Grown wild and feral
And no hint of taint
Blood in the sun
Velvet within night
If danger be gone
Forsake as it might
Laced with needles
Filled with love
Nursed and needing
Not low nor above
A moon lacking night
A sun void of light
A rose without thorns
Could never be right.
