Here is one of my creative writing essays! Hope you enjoy! I do own all of this, (BTW this is not a slender man thing) sorry it's short, it could only be a page long since it was done in class.

The sun had begun to set and the darkness had brought a chill to the air. A girl stepped into the last rays of sun and trudged across the field. You could see the hair rise on the back of her neck as the cold wracked her body. She pulled up the hood on her black jacket so that it covered her long swirly brown hair that was wrapped tightly in a bun. She scanned the dead grass and the barren trees, her deep mocha eyes searching for something. As she walked her jeans became ratted with cockleburs and the low crunch of leaves and dead grass beneath her boots was the only sounds heard besides the moan of the wind and the low caw of the ravens as they sang a mournful tune. As the sun sank lower her shadow stretched across the horizon, the girl looked up and spun around as she heard a crunch of leaves besides the sounds of her own feet upon the ground. Fear and was in her eyes, soft and sweet was the look of her as she turned back the way she was heading. A few paces further and further she walked to the middle of the field. There she knelt down on the ground and began to weep, it was a soft cry full of years of sorrow and remorse. As the soft tears rolled down her cheek she whispered to herself "I'm sorry". There she sat for many a minute, sniffling and letting her emotions flow. She had hardly realized the tall black figure that loomed ominously over her like a dark omen. The figure reached into the folds of his coat and pulled out a dagger. There was a soft ping as the blade struck the scabbard and the girl raised her head and turned around. Her face was still poignant as she turned around, when she saw the dagger her eyes grew wide and her face pale, she opened her mouth to scream for help or to beg for mercy, for they to spare her life but the black figure struck driving the blade deep into the girl's guilt stricken heart. Her eyes became unseeing staring towards the open field, her breathing stopped and her blood ceased to flow, the dark and cruel figure withdrew the knife and fled her corpse with silence, as dark as a shadow. The girl fell over to her side, limp in death. Her muscles relaxed and her fist unclenched, a small object rolled out of her hand. A gold locket in the shape of a heart fell open onto the hard ground. Inside was a worn picture of a young man, he was tall and handsome and was holding the girl's hand in the photo. Engraved into the opposing side of the locket was a small saying, even in death, we will never be apart.
