My heart flutters as I saw him in a tuxedo. I looked and saw myself wearing a white bridal gown with pearls all over. I walked down the aisle and then we said our vows. The ceremony completed and I was leaning when I fell off the bed and my dream broke. I sighed this was one of my best and worst dreams ever.

Chapter 1

"Just one baby just one."Draco said looking at me.

"Draco I am warning you for the last time get lost."

"Come on Abhi please." he said trying to press closer. I just lost it, my temper I mean, come on who won't and thrust my thumb in his eye socket. His hand in an instant went there and some else also entered the locker room, by the way it was the boys' locker room. Hey, don't get me wrong I was practically dragged there.

"Huh – huh Draco I guess you know we are NOT allowed to get girls in here, assuming that I myself have been telling you this yesterday and day before." Said the new basketball team captain, though god knows his name but boy he is, well you know athletes. Guess I am going to find out his name.

"Umm... Captain... I" No such luck.

"No defence Draco. Ugh, earned yourself a nasty black eye did you?"He said looking at Mr B's face as he turned.

"Girls shouldn't do that you know." he said turning on to me .Man he was ...cool.

"Well you just told your friend I shouldn't have been in the place first thing."Hey! That so did not come out right and thinking this I passed by his side and was through the door. Of one thing I was absolutely positive and that is I am so going to have a tough time working on my chemistry project this evening. God!

I just wish I had not left a lasting impression as it is soon going to change.

"Wow she sure is something."Abhi said looking at the door.

"Don't get your hopes high man, she is tough." said Matt coming from behind him.

"Sure she is."

"NO captain she is dangerous." said Draco

"Oh shut up Toads" Abhi snapped and walked towards his locker. Before leaving he called Matt and asked him to give him all the information he could about the girl. Matt described her in only three words "kick ass, scary" and left grinning all over his face. As Abhi walked home he just could not remove her from his thoughts.

I reached home drenched to the toe. Heck, who would have thought that it would start raining as soon as I stepped out from the swimming pool.

"Abhilashaa what have you done now, you are all drenched."Came Mom's voice from the kitchen .I would have to be deaf to miss the sharp tone in her voice.

"Nothing mumsie just swimming."I said

"Ok then Abhi can you please change then?" As I changed I thought about the new basketball captain and thought about him all through dinner and the whole night .I was so right about the chemistry project.

"Come on Matt, pick up the cell, come on" Abhi muttered as he tried Matt Salvador's number for the third time that evening.

"Hiya, what's up?"Matt asked casually

"What's up? I have been trying to call you since the last two hours and you are like what's up?"

"Sorry champ, come on, why am I such a celebrity?"

"Nothing just wanted ask why are you not coming to school since the day we saw Abhilashaa, I mean Tuesday."He could have particularly killed himself for bluttering her name. God please send her out of my mind, he thought. He sure as hell did not like her but she seemed good friend material.

"Aw, so cute. Abhilashaa, huh?"

"Oh burger off Matt, it's nothing cute. She just seems good friend material."

"Abhi, come we have a party to arrange." His mom's voice floated across the room.

"Got to go man, catch you later."

"Abhi dear get ready fast, remember I had told you about the family friends who had shifted to Los Angeles last Week, they have a party today and we are invited."

"Ok mum I will be ready in a second."

I debated about what to wear, I opened my cupboard (which by the way was way bigger than my room) and started looking.

"Mum where is my navy blue dress?"I yelled

"One thing is sure your love for fashion so does not come after me."Mum said bringing my dress.

"Oh come on Mum, even you know that's so not true, even you like looking good, especially in front of dad."I said and escaped before the pillow Mum threw at my head reached its destination.

"Mum kindly improve your aim before you start a pillow fight next time."I said and laughed from inside the bathroom.

"Oh sure next time the door won't be there to save you Miss Abhi."Mum said laughingly.

"Abhi you know what darling, these friends of ours have a son your age and I guess he will be most probably joining your school, won't he Shray?"

"Yes most probably."Dad answered and added "Though he is really good at games, may turn out to be one of the captains."

"He is Debora's age isn't he?"Mum asked Dad. Deb by the way is my younger sister but behaves like the elder one.

"Maybe, I am not so sure, you know I think Abhi's age."

"I guess his name is..."Mums phone rang before she could complete and Deb who had been leaning in eagerly backed off.

"Yeah yes Diya we are almost there."Mum said

"Not almost, we are there."Dad said taking the phone from Mum and said "By the way Diya I can't see you or Ray anywhere about your place."

"But I see them."Mum said excitedly.

I walked in the house which was I must say massive .I saw mum and her friend talk excitedly. All on a sudden there were two hands covering my eyes.

"Guess" cried Rue trying in vain to disguise her voice.

"Rue, my bestie." I said

"How did you guess?"She asked in her usual sing song voice.

"Only you have such soft hands."I lied not wanting to hurt her feelings. Rue's such a drama queen that it would break her heart to hear that she cannot disguise her voice.

"Hey look, out there, the star of our school, Mr Football caption, Abhi."She practically squeaked out of excitement.

I never knew my best friend could be so girly. Well, to say the truth she is not my best friend but she thinks of me as hers so I just agree not to break her heart but in reality my best friends are Kate, Prim and Isabel. My parents are my best friends as well. Still, whatever. Now I looked over to see Mr Abhi at the bar juggling with wine bottles. I have to agree he looked like a clone of Brad Pitt or maybe Siddhart Malhotra maybe even Varun Dhavan. Good lord, he looks so handsome that I can melt into a puddle at his feet. Oh my god what am I thinking?

"Come on, let's go and grab a coke."I suggest clearing my head.

But Rue definitely had different ideas.

"What!?"She nearly shouted, clearly shocked and half dragged me towards the bar.

"OMG, he is so hot. Like our in house Harry Styles, of course without the hair style." she whispered.

This was not the first time I regretted teaching her the phrase "in house". I wished our other friends were there .Even if Rue would allow me to meet people and introduce myself it would be fine. I normally am funky and straightforward but today all I am is funky and am not hurting feelings right and left. Mom had gone off to see friend's marriage pictures' album and Dad had gone somewhere and Deb was with a group of her friends. As Mom would say "Ah hell"

"Yes, whatever." I replied and then added just for Rue's benefit "You know what let us go over and irritate somebody supposed to be serving people drinks."I could so not help that evil grin spreading over my face.
