Author:

A poem based on my mother. After she abondoned me for the second time, and left me to go to NC where i live now, I was hurt and confused. I tried to channel that through my writing. I have more if anyone cares.

I still remember the all the times

That you would lie

And say you loved me

But through the haze

I couldn't see

How long since those days?

You know, the ones I was crazed

To believe your lies,

And believe I did,

Which you left me paralyzed?

You never loved me

And never will, so I see

So leave I did

Without looking back

For mot a single farewell to bid.
