This is an odd little poem I wrote because I just realized something, that kind of upset me, anyway I hope you like it.

This is my first piece of poetry so criticism would be greatly appreciated. :)

Things are different now,

I guess I've changed,

I notice the little things now,

The things that aren't really fair.

Things aren't so simple now,

I guess that's normal,

I know such terrible things now,

The things I wish weren't there.

Things aren't so beautiful now,

I guess I know why,

I see the bad in life,

The things that make it impossible,

For beauty to survive,

Things aren't so amazing now,

I guess they wouldn't be,

Not now I see the truth,

All things must grow up,

Even me.
