My sleep was riddled with nightmares.

Flashes of the past I'd hoped I'd forgotten long ago.

Hopeless visions and my heart ripping in two.

I'm not sure how long I slept but Violet was worriedly shaking me when my conscience was once again aroused.

It was probably midday, the sun was beating down on us, nevertheless I'd been wrapped in Violet's floral nightmare of a blanket.

"I was afraid you were out for good." She admitted.

"Me? Never, just having a nice nightmare." I answered sarcastically.

"We should get going." It seemed to me she was doing all the leading, but I, the diplomat, agreed.

I had walking.

I'd prefer to be running any and everywhere.

It's just my ultra hyper nature.

Still, I couldn't very well abandon Violet right now.

After she'd brought me out of my short lived coma with ginger ale.

I was in debt to her.
