Kochma*

Monsters sneak and hide and jump
Dark and lurking, they seek
a dream to invade, somewhere to play.
Disturbingly, they have found a place to stay

Terrifying and quiet
Horrifying and loud
A picture is worth a thousand words,
But they silence me; I mustn't utter a sound

Lurid images I see,
And they frighten me.
No way to escape
And no way to be set free
Chained like a prisoner in my own mind

A flash of lights and a gentle shake.
"Time to get up."
The nightmare haunts none but I.
A silent victim, I cannot cry
For a fool I would be thought

Push these things away,
Till the next night to they play
