"Finally!" Jessie said outloud on accident as she packed her bag.

New York! She was going to New York! It had been planned last month. She'd convinced her parents it'd be great too be there for Christmas. But what she was going for was a friend. Someone she'd been talking to for months. Lizzy.

Lizzy was thirteen and Jessie was fifteen.

But age doesn't matter when you're in love.

Jessie had loved Lizzy for so long. She'd been meaning to tell her but decided in person would be best.

One hour until she left for her flight.

One hour until Lizzy.

One hour until Jessie told Lizzy how she really felt.

Jessie was getting nervous . Lizzy was a little boy crazy, and Jessie... She was NOT a boy.

Her phone buzzed "New message from Lizzy" it said. She dropped the shirt she was holding and quickly opened the message.

"How long until you're here asdfghjkl" It said.

"About three hours" Jessie typed back.

A big grin spread across Jessie's face. Lizzy was happy she was coming.

The plane was finally stopping. Jessie was practically jumping out of her seat.

"You may now exit the flight" The speakers blasted. Jessie grabbed her carry on and ran off the plane.

When she finally got to the hotel she threw her stuff on the floor, grabbed her coat, and headed to the cafe down the road.

Lizzy was supposed to be there in about twenty minutes, but Jessie was too excited to wait. Since she was alone she ordered a coffee.

After thanking and paying the cashier with the curly brown hair and big fake smile, she sat down in the booth in the corner. It was a nice private seat. Her phone rang again. She hoped it was Lizzy and quickly opened it.

It was Matt. "JESSIE YOU'RE IN NEW YORK?! ASDFJLIVMSO" It said. Jessie laughed a little. He had already known she'd be here. "Yep! :D" She texted back.

Someone walked in the cafe door and the little bell rang. Jessie peaked around the seat.

It was Lizzy. She was really excited but didn't move. What if Lizzy didn't like her? What was she going to say? Lizzy looked around a little. She must not have seen Jessie because she looked sort of... Dissapointed?

Jessie jumped up. "Uh... Hi Lizzy." She mumbled.

"JESSIE!" Lizzy practically screamed and tackled Jessie. "WERE YOU, LIKE, HIDING?"

"No I was scared!" Jessie laughed nervously.

"Don't be scared!" Lizzy tightly hugged Jessie.

Lizzy got some hot chocolate and sat down next to Jessie. She was glad Jessie had actually come. She was scared Jessie wouldn't show up.

"I'm tired." Lizzy said. Even though she really wasn't.

"Awh." Jessie giggled "poor wittle Lizzy.".

"I'm not little!"

"Okay! Sorry!"

"I should go home and rest."

"No! Your house is farther away! You should come to the hotel with me!"

"Uhm, okay." Lizzy said unsure. But she did want too. She had something to tell Jessie.
