Poetry From a Soul
Author:
Risen Brimille PM
These are some of the poems I've written in the past and have recently written. The ratings will vary, but there are no cuss words, just some dark themes. The tone goes anywhere from nostalgic or happy, to dark so I hope you enjoy them. I'll update this every so often with new poems. Rated T to be safe ;)

Never seen

Always there but never seen,

Always blending in.

The one who hides in color schemes,

The lone Chameleon.

My Thoughts

Words spill on paper

And, like a coffee stain,

Spread across the page.

Best for the Feeding

I live in the dark where I cannot be seen,

You do not know I am there.

And when you're alone, with no thought of death,

That is when you must most be aware.

For I'll hunt you and haunt you and you will not know,

What it is I am most likely needing.

For my child beware, 'cause the dark gives a scare,

To the ones who are best for the feeding.

Setting it Down

He picks up the knife,

And looks around,

It could end his life,

But he sets it down.

Lullaby

Hush, hush, lullaby,

The sound of screaming as I die.

Falling to an endless sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
