Peeling Pain

Peeling paint, run astray,

Run away,

Hide away, far from where you are today,

Please, go away.

Thin layers of ice,

Running down my face,

A melting pot,

A weak plot.

Crumbling, falling away,

The next layers wane,

Peeled away like paint,

An old rusty face,

A waste of space,

He thinks.

Our hidden, our lost

The ones we forgot.
