Okay new story guys! Hope you enjoy it feel free to let me know if its good or not. i'll take your feedback into consideration!
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock. I reached for the baseball bat under my bed when I felt an empty space instead of the usual hard wood bat my father made I sighed and sat up. Mom must have taken it, and knowing my father he was too wrapped up in the pancakes mom made for breakfast to notice.
As I scratched my head I heard my mother's voice. "MINARI YOU BETTER BE GETTING DRESSED! WE DIDN"T MOVE SO THAT YOU WOULD BE LATE FOR SCHOOL" I checked the time, 8:10 AM. What time did me new school start again? I hopped out of bed and headed towards my closet. My choice of my outfit for today (jeans and a graphic t) was nowhere to be found. My mom must have thrown out anything thing casual for me to wear last night. I sighed and picked a blue dress and put a grey sweater over top it. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and smiled satisfied with my look.
"Sweetie you look wonderful!" exclaimed my mother as I sat down and she placed pancakes on my plate.
"Where did you put my old clothes?" I asked as dad picked up what was probably his 5th pancake.
"I tossed them all out last night while you were sleeping! You start a new school today and you should present yourself." I rolled my eyes before finishing my pancake and picking up my satchel and tucking my sketchbook under my arm.
"For someone who cares about becoming a stylist you should really make yourself more fashionable."
"I picked these clothes out mom... I just wanted to be comfortable on my first day." The only clothes my mother saw was the ones she didn't like, I had fashionable clothes in my closet; she just liked to think that she picked them out instead of me doing so.
I left soon after not wanting to stay for my parents love fest. As I walked to school I noticed a crowd of people huddling at the front gate. As I got closer the screams of the people became clearer, most of them were girls but there was the odd guy that was peering in from the outside.
"OMG, isn't that Tae? He's so cute!" exclaimed a girl in the back. The girl next to her shoved her to the side, an angry look plastered onto her face. If looks could kill that poor girl would be gone by now.
"Don't even think about it Tae is for everyone! " I chuckled at the girl's remark before trying to make my way around the crowd. Did she really think that at least 50 girls could share one guy? His girlfriend was probably on the down low because of all his fans. Going around didn't go as planned and instead I was pushed and shoved around with the crowd until I wound up in the center of the circle. Unfortunately I fell to the pavement. Ouch talk about bad luck.
"Hey, you okay?" a voice asked and I looked up from the ground to see a handsome boy who was holding several bags of chocolate and what seemed like love letters. He had the whole idol looking going on with his headphones around his neck and his bangs that fell over his eyes. He was good looking alright but not my type. Besides I wasn't looking to date now, not after my last relationship. The idol guy extended a hand towards me and I took it, He hoisted me up and I bow politely in thanks.
"Thanks." I said before heading back into the crowd who seemed to push me with more force then they originally had. Hadn't they just seen my little tumble?
"Don't think you can get close to our Tae." mumbled several girls as I was roughly thrown out of the crowd. So that's what the whole roughness was about. Just because I had a two second conversation with their idol, geez some people could be so... annoying. I sighed before picking up my things my bag looked to be unharmed but there was something missing though... Where was my sketchbook?
The bell rang and everyone seemed to clear away nothing was left on the floor which meant someone had to have my sketches. I sighed before going off to find my first class. I had gym first thing and I hadn't picked up a ball since I was little instead I opted for pencils and sketchbook. My mother thought I should get more exercise so she switched my intended visual arts with gym. At least I still had my design course to look forward to.
"Heads up!" A voice cried and I stuck my hand out to catch the volley ball, currently I was drawing a sketch idea I had for the volleyball teams uniforms. I didn't have my sketch book but I did get some scrap paper from one of my notebooks. I had seen the ball coming from the corner of my eyes so catching it was no big deal, it did mean however that I had to drop my pencil and just as I was getting to the good part.
The uniform they had on display from their pervious teams was nice in a colour sense, the combination of yellow and white wasn't horrible but it was rather unappealing shape wise. It seemed way to baggie for the girls and the shorts were too long and probably restricted their movement.
"Sorry are you okay?" Asked a girl with dyed red hair. I smiled and nodded my head she glanced at my drawing her smile seemed to grow wider.
"Are you a designer?" she asked and I nodded my head.
"I guess you could say that. I just draw things and sometimes I make my drawings into outfits."
"Neat! I like what you did for the school volleyball uniform. I'm on the team and let's just say if we had your design we'd be scoring more than points." She said with a wink before sticking out her hand for a hand shake, I gladly shook it. "I have got to talk to coach; you need to make us these. I'm Sara by the way."
"Minari, but you can call me Min." She nodded her head and took me over to meet the others who were on the team and in our class. They all liked my design and from then on it seemed like I became the school personal stylist.
I also made a friend that day, but I never did find out what happened to my sketchbook. It was fine though I had five more at home and the one I brought today didn't have my best work in it. So far the start of my new school wasn't so bad.
That's it for now I will probably update this one every Saturday or Sunday depending on my homework amount please be patient with me and read my other the dancer and the king if you haven't already! Chibchilla out!
