Today, I savored the taste of a fading childhood icon; something that I thought would stay with me and give sweetness and nostalgia throughout my life. I let it go, and swallowed it. Literally. Today I had the last slice of Wonder bread I will ever have the pleasure of eating. Bread that had supplied my childhood since I was old enough to chew with toast, sandwiches, a midnight snack, and a delicious addition to Italian meals.

I regret the thought that the children I plan to have will never hear the saying "a Kodak moment" or make jokes about Twinkies and Ho-Ho's, or take a ride in a smooth cruising Saab car. I regret all the decisions that have been made by Unions and our pleasant, ever smiling president that have destroyed American icons, things that have been alive for years and fueled the spirit of our diminishing country.

To me, the Unions might as well be bulldozing Mount Rushmore or building a housing development over Old Faithful. While they're at it, they can chop up the Washington Monument for firewood to fuel the flames of the fire that is arson to the spirit of America. The fact that bankruptcy has it's claws around America is thanks to many reasons. The main one being the Unions, and the other, our president.

I'm not racist, don't worry. I hate Biden too.

Hostess, let's take them on first. Thanks to the Unions, they couldn't package Twinkies and Bread together in the same truck. That was against a senseless regulation. No. They had to have a truck for bread, a truck for Twinkies, and a truck for another item, and so on and so forth. Imagine the costs that racked up. That's only one example of the atrocities that wrack our wonderful country.

Growing up in a world like this is scary to me. I was still to young a child to realize the impact of 9/11 when it happened, and I never was able to experience our country before it. Now I feel like we live under the constant threat of another attack, despite the valiant efforts of a mislead government. It has to be confusing for people to watch as this happens.

One day, our world is thriving strong with Twinkies and low security, and the next the twin towers fall. And now, our spirit is collapsing as the day comes when things that we take for granted just disappear. The thought that two months ago when I had my last Twinkie with a friend, that I would be tasting the last of it.

With these things in our mind, think what could be next. Our country is already being deprived the rights to religion. Have you heard about Hobby Lobby? They employ Christians, but because they are not a church, they have to pay for birth control. You might as well pass a mandate that says that Islam's can't practice their beliefs. But no, we can't do that. Because as a country, we must be TOLERANT of religions. As long as it's not Christianity. And as a country, we have to be ACCEPTING of all races. As long as you're not white. Additionally, we accept and are OPEN to all sexualities. As long as you're not straight. And women have RIGHTS, like we all do, and no one is favored over another. Just pray you're not a male.

Wait, sorry, don't pray for it. I'm going to be politically incorrect if I say that in what used to be a Christian nation, something that actually respected all religions, and a country that did strive for 'All men created equal."

So you see, this whole thing is a lot more than me missing bread. It's about the spirit and the rest of America collapsing around us. And there is no way to stop it.
