Home.
Where is such a place?
It's where you feel safe.

I have no such place
to call home yet.
I dream it in my dreams,
but they never seem to come true.

You see it in movies,
a warm loving place,
filled with family,
I am still searching for that.
A place filled with warmth,
and love.

I don't want to be
that lost puppy,
forever.
I don't want to live
in this place filled with
Tension.
Hatred.
Fear.
And nothingness.

I need a place
where it's not cold
and I'm not some servant,
but a loved child
like all the others seem to be.

I need a place to call home,
but where is that place?
when will I be able
to find such a place?
A place where I feel safe,
A place to call home.
