We lost Gina to the window.
She took flight amidst her
depths of despair
and plummeted
into oblivion.
Clinging to the threads of life,
I try to re-weave the cloth,
to fix the frayed tapestry,
to patch the hole.
My mind replays, rewinds,
re-writes.
But she is still gone.
