Andrew stood watching. Watching and waiting. He was on the Union side of the Civil War. He stood waiting for an enemy to come up suddenly and unexpectedly.

He was thinking about his brother, Nathaniel, who was on the Confederate side. Andrew could not wait until the war was over so he could see his brother and his parents.

Just in time he noticed a man sneaking into the building. He raised his gun, took aim , and shot. The man fell to the ground. Andrew crept over to the man's dead body and studied him.

Andrew quickly turned away and ran from the room. The man, was Nathaniel.
