So this is for all the people who have that one person in their lives that torments them in a joking manner and teases them to no end but for some reasons you find yourself hanging out with that person because your personalities are so similar that you can almost forget about all the teasing jokes because that's all they are anyway: just jokes. So here's to those crazy people

Those People

It's always the nice ones

The ones that are kind

That sweet exterior ensures you don't run

They seem to read your mind

Those people can get under your skin

Yet you find that they are great friends

You wouldn't trade them for your kin

Because they know your trends

Those people are the ones that get on you last nerve

They knock you off your guard

You go spiraling off the curve

Your whole wall that you put up is now in shards

Those people know how to get you to open up

You make a pact not to give them what they want

Still it is you they trump

They are like the weird aunt

Those people will make the most interesting friends

They are the ones that can knock down the walls

They are the ones with whom the most time you will spend

They will help you up when you fall

So just give up and face the facts

You will not win

The deck has already been stacked

Give up and let them in

This poem is dedicated to my neighbor. She is crazy and insane but I always seem to hang out with her. I still think that I will win against her in our battle of wits. Anyway thanks for reading.
